Aluminum extrusions
From machining stock to drawing-based profiles
We focus on supply coordination for extruded aluminum bars, tubes and profiles. Alloy, temper, cross-section and downstream machining or surface-treatment requirements are reviewed together.

Product & application
An aluminum supply specification needs both alloy and temper. We review machining or forging use, heat treatment and finishing requirements such as anodizing. Tube inquiries should identify extrusion-route and seam requirements. Profile inquiries should include cross-section drawings, tolerances and any tooling needs.
- Supply forms
- Round · square · hexagonal · flat bar · tube · profile
- Application examples
- Machining stock for automotive and industrial parts, lightweight structural members and drawing-based profiles
Define the supply conditions.
These are specification inputs for quotation review. Actual availability, minimum quantity and lead time are confirmed by grade and size.
- Condition & surface
- Alloy/temper, mechanical properties and machining, forging or finishing requirements
- Dimensions & order
- Cross-section, wall thickness, length, tolerance, tooling and sample conditions
- Inspection & documents
- Specify mill certificates, tests, traceability and customer approvals. Document availability, cost and timing are reviewed.
Representative grades & review scope
| Family | Representative grades / review basis |
|---|---|
| Primary alloy inquiry | A6061 |
| Other alloys and tempers | Reviewed against drawing and property requirements |
Grades and forms are inquiry examples. Inventory, availability, dimensions, quantity, inspections and lead time are confirmed at quotation.
